animata-moving-gradient

background-effectaurora-meshmotion on file

A React and Tailwind background wrapper that places an animated yellow-to-pink gradient behind arbitrary children. It ships as a shadcn registry TSX component with theme animation and keyframe CSS, and imports the project-local cn class-merging utility through the standard alias.

BARE BUILD

✗ Build failed in 27.45s

Verdict

A compact, flexible backdrop for Tailwind projects, with clean mounting and no reported accessibility or overflow findings. It needs a shadcn-style setup as supplied because the bare project cannot resolve its cn utility import.

Use it if

  • You need a self-contained animated backdrop that can wrap existing content.
  • Your app already uses Tailwind and the usual shadcn cn utility and path alias.
  • You want callers to override the gradient classes or disable motion through props.

Skip it if

  • Your project does not use Tailwind and you do not want to translate utility classes and animation CSS.
  • You need motion to follow the user's reduced-motion preference without adding that behavior yourself.
  • You need a decorative layer that works without a project-local cn utility or alias configuration.

In a non-shadcn project, add a cn class-merging helper, configure the matching source alias or replace the import with a relative path, and provide Tailwind with the included animation theme value and keyframes. Also add your own reduced-motion treatment if required.
