Measured entry
hextaui-settings-backup
A client-side React settings card for configuring automatic backups, starting manual backups, and listing restore or delete actions. It ships as a HextaUI shadcn registry block and relies on local shadcn primitives, a cn utility, React state, and Lucide icons; persistence and backup operations arrive through callbacks.

BARE BUILD
✗ Build failed in 1m 41s error during build: [vite:load-fallback] Could not load <sandbox>/src/lib/utils (imported by src/cut/blocks/settings/settings-backup.tsx): ENOENT: no such file or directory, open '<sandbox>/src/lib/utils'
Verdict
A useful application-level shell with sensible async hooks and responsive behavior, but it needs a shadcn-style setup and is not ready for an accessibility-strict release. Fix the unsupported ARIA usage and unnamed control before shipping it.
Use it if
- You need a ready-made backup settings panel inside an existing shadcn-style application.
- Your product can supply backup records and connect the create, restore, delete, and settings callbacks.
- You want responsive controls for scheduling, retention, storage location, and backup history.
Skip it if
- Your accessibility gate cannot accept unsupported ARIA attributes or an unnamed button until those defects are fixed.
- You need a standalone component without shadcn aliases, utility styles, and copied UI primitives.
- You need the component itself to perform storage, backup, restore, or deletion rather than delegating those operations to callbacks.
Install
| Declared dependencies | @radix-ui/react-alert-dialog, @radix-ui/react-slot, @radix-ui/react-label, @radix-ui/react-separator, @radix-ui/react-progress, @radix-ui/react-select, @radix-ui/react-switch |
|---|---|
| Missing on install | none |
| Bare install | fails once the shadcn-style helpers are removed, so it needs that setup |
| Provider | no provider required in the harness |
For a non-shadcn project, add the local cn helper, Tailwind-compatible theme utilities, Lucide icons, and equivalent alert dialog, badge, button, card, field, input group, progress, select, separator, and switch primitives. Repoint the aliases and wire every backup callback to your backend.
