Measured entry
meraki-hero-image-with-newsletter
A complete HTML landing-page hero with navigation, feature bullets, an email capture form, and a large image. It ships as Tailwind utility markup, uses Alpine.js for the mobile menu, and loads its logo and photograph from remote hosts.

Verdict
A practical starting layout that builds and mounts on its own, with sensible responsive behavior. Treat it as a visual scaffold: accessibility issues, the inert signup control, placeholder links, remote assets, and a stray text character all need cleanup before release.
Use it if
- You want a flat, split-layout hero that already includes navigation and newsletter capture.
- Your site uses Tailwind and can support a small Alpine.js menu interaction.
- You are prepared to replace the sample copy, links, image, and form behavior.
Skip it if
- You need an accessible component without first fixing the unnamed logo link and insufficient text contrast.
- You need a working newsletter submission out of the box; the current button does not submit the form.
- Your project avoids runtime CDN scripts or externally hosted brand and photography assets.
- You only need a hero and do not want the bundled navigation shell.
Install
| Declared dependencies | none declared |
|---|---|
| Missing on install | none |
| Bare install | builds and mounts without the shadcn-style helpers |
| Provider | no provider required in the harness |
Add Tailwind CSS and Alpine.js, or replace the Alpine menu directives with your framework's state handling. Configure the Tailwind classes, provide local or approved image assets, wire the form to a real endpoint, and add accessible names and contrast fixes.
