Measured entry

originui-comp-58

formminimal-flat

A client-side React OTP field with a visible label and individually rendered character slots. It ships as a shadcn registry component, uses input-otp for input behavior, pulls in a Radix-backed Label, and expects a cn helper plus the utility classes and theme tokens used by the source.

What the harness recorded

BARE BUILD

✗ Build failed in 3.05s

Verdict

A focused OTP presentation component that builds, mounts, and stays within its viewport in the configured harness. Its bare mount fails because it needs a shadcn-style setup, including the shared utility import and registry label wiring.

Use it if

  • You need a compact verification-code field with spaced character slots.
  • Your app already uses shadcn conventions, Tailwind utilities, and path aliases.
  • You want input-otp behavior while retaining control over each slot's rendering.

Skip it if

  • You only need a conventional text field or a standalone label.
  • You want a dependency-free OTP input with no registry primitives or shared styling helpers.
  • You need validation, submission, resend controls, or error handling included in the component.

In a non-shadcn project, add input-otp and the Radix label dependency, provide an equivalent Label component and cn class-merging helper, configure the source import alias, and supply the Tailwind utilities and theme tokens referenced by the component.
