Measured entry
ruixen-badge-morph
badgeunclassifiedmotion on file
A client-side React status pill that morphs among idle, loading, success, and error states with animated icons, labels, layout, and glow. It ships as a shadcn registry TSX component styled with Tailwind, using Motion and a local cn utility backed by clsx and tailwind-merge.

What the harness recorded
BARE BUILD
✗ Build failed in 1m 1s error during build: [vite:load-fallback] Could not load <sandbox>/src/lib/utils (imported by src/cut/components/ruixen/badge-morph.tsx): ENOENT: no such file or directory, open '<sandbox>/src/lib/utils'
Verdict
A focused, well-contained choice for animated async feedback, with clean controlled props and no provider requirement. It builds and mounts in the prepared harness, but a bare project fails because it needs a shadcn-style setup, especially the expected cn utility and import alias.
Use it if
- You need a compact status indicator for deploys, builds, uploads, or other short async workflows.
- Your interface already uses Tailwind and Motion, and the component can inherit the existing theme tokens.
- You want controlled status and optional label props instead of a component that owns request state.
Skip it if
- You need a semantic live-region announcement for status changes without adding accessibility behavior yourself.
- You want to avoid adding Motion for a small status treatment.
- Your design system does not use Tailwind utilities or a shadcn-style cn helper.
Install
| Declared dependencies | motion, clsx, tailwind-merge |
|---|---|
| Missing on install | none |
| Bare install | fails once the shadcn-style helpers are removed, so it needs that setup |
| Provider | no provider required in the harness |
In a non-shadcn project, add Motion, Tailwind, clsx, and tailwind-merge; create a cn helper, configure the local import alias, preserve the client-component directive, and ensure the generated Tailwind classes are included in content scanning.
