Measured entry
ruixen-grouped-faq-section
A client-side React FAQ section that organizes questions into titled groups and opens one answer at a time. It ships as TypeScript source through a shadcn registry and depends on a local Radix-backed Accordion, the cn utility, path aliases, and Tailwind theme classes. It needs no provider.

What the harness recorded
BARE BUILD
✗ Build failed in 25.13s error during build: [vite:load-fallback] Could not load <sandbox>/src/lib/utils (imported by src/cut/grouped-faq-section.tsx): ENOENT: no such file or directory, open '<sandbox>/src/lib/utils'
Verdict
A sound choice for a categorized marketing FAQ, with sensible props and restrained interaction. It builds and mounts cleanly in the prepared harness, but bare use fails because the imported utility and accordion are absent. It needs a shadcn-style setup or equivalent local plumbing.
Use it if
- Your FAQ spans distinct topics that benefit from visible category headings.
- Your project already uses shadcn conventions and a Radix-backed accordion.
- You want editable question data, heading copy, and a configurable contact link in one section.
Skip it if
- You need search, filtering, deep links, or independent open state across several answers.
- Your design system does not use Tailwind theme tokens or shadcn path aliases.
- Your FAQ is short enough that category headings and repeated accordion groups add unnecessary structure.
Install
| Declared dependencies | radix-ui |
|---|---|
| Missing on install | none |
| Bare install | fails once the shadcn-style helpers are removed, so it needs that setup |
| Provider | no provider required in the harness |
In a non-shadcn project, install radix-ui, add a compatible Accordion component and cn class-merging helper, configure the @ path alias, and provide Tailwind styles for the referenced background, foreground, border, card, muted, and primary theme tokens.
