Verdict

A polished, narrowly scoped hover effect that builds and mounts cleanly in the prepared harness. It needs a shadcn-style setup because the bare project cannot resolve its cn utility import. Best for decorative copy where pointer-only activation is acceptable.

Use it if

  • You want a short heading or label to decode on pointer hover.
  • Your interface already includes Motion and a shadcn-style utility setup.
  • Pointer entry direction should control the direction of the resolving wave.

  • The effect must activate equally from keyboard focus or touch input.
