hextaui-auth-email-change

auth-formminimal-flat

A client-side React card for changing an account email after password confirmation. It ships as a shadcn registry block with local validation, loading, server-error, password-reveal, and success states, and depends on HextaUI button, card, field, and input-group primitives, a cn utility, Tailwind theme tokens, Lucide icons, and Radix-backed UI packages.

Verdict

A practical, accessible account-settings block with a clean callback boundary and useful async states. It builds and mounts in the prepared harness, but it needs a shadcn-style setup and will not work as a bare drop-in because its local utility and registry primitive imports must exist.

Use it if

  • You need an account-settings email-change form that hands validated credentials to your own submit handler.
  • Your product already uses shadcn-style aliases, Tailwind tokens, and compatible local UI primitives.
  • You want controlled loading, backend error, and verification-sent states without adopting a form library.

Skip it if

  • You need the component to perform authentication, email verification, or API calls itself.
  • Your app does not collect the current password when changing an email address.
  • You want a portable standalone component without shadcn registry files, path aliases, or Tailwind theme conventions.

In a non-shadcn project, add or replace the cn utility and path aliases, recreate the button, card, field, and input-group primitives, provide the expected Tailwind semantic tokens, and install Lucide React plus the required Radix packages. Wire onSubmit to your account API and drive loading, errors, and success from that request.
