Measured entry
hextaui-auth-login-form
A client-side React login card shipped as a shadcn registry item. It composes local Button, Card, Checkbox, Field, InputGroup, and Separator primitives plus the cn helper, Radix-backed controls, Lucide icons, and a Tabler GitHub icon. It owns input state and validation, while authentication is supplied through callbacks.

What the harness recorded
BARE BUILD
✗ Build failed in 1m 50s error during build: [vite:load-fallback] Could not load <sandbox>/src/lib/utils (imported by src/cut/blocks/auth/auth-login-form.tsx): ENOENT: no such file or directory, open '<sandbox>/src/lib/utils'
Verdict
A practical, restrained sign-in shell with useful states and clean callback boundaries, but it needs a shadcn-style setup and should not ship unchanged while the reported critical ARIA violation remains. Choose it as editable application source, not as a standalone auth solution.
Use it if
- You already use shadcn-style aliases and primitives and want a compact sign-in card with email, password visibility, remember-me, errors, loading state, and optional social providers.
- You want callback integration points for credential submission and provider login while keeping authentication logic outside the component.
Skip it if
- You need a drop-in package for a plain React app; its source imports project-local primitives and an alias-based utility.
- Your accessibility gate rejects critical ARIA issues unless you can audit and fix the unsupported attribute reported by the harness.
- You need password recovery, account creation, passkeys, or a complete authentication flow without extending the UI.
Install
| Declared dependencies | @radix-ui/react-slot, @radix-ui/react-checkbox, @radix-ui/react-label, @radix-ui/react-separator |
|---|---|
| Missing on install | none |
| Bare install | fails once the shadcn-style helpers are removed, so it needs that setup |
| Provider | no provider required in the harness |
In a non-shadcn project, add the local button, card, checkbox, field, input-group, and separator primitives; configure the at-sign path alias and cn utility; install the Radix controls plus Lucide and Tabler icon packages; bring over the expected theme tokens and utility classes; then wire submit and social callbacks to your auth service.
