Verdict

A solid settings UI when the surrounding authentication logic already exists. It mounts cleanly in the prepared harness, but it needs a shadcn-style setup and does not work as a bare drop-in because its local utility and UI imports must be supplied.

Use it if

  • You need an account-settings panel for linking and unlinking supported social identities.
  • Your app already uses shadcn conventions and can wire the callback props to real authentication flows.
  • You want responsive connected, primary, verified, loading, and error states in one card.

Skip it if

  • You need a ready-made OAuth implementation, token handling, or provider API integration rather than presentation callbacks.
  • Your design system does not use Tailwind theme tokens or shadcn-style local primitives and you do not want to adapt them.
  • You need arbitrary providers without extending the fixed provider union and icon configuration.
