hextaui-task-list

selectminimal-flat

A client-side React task list block with search, status and priority filters, sorting, pagination, selection, bulk actions, and callback-driven updates. It ships as a shadcn registry TSX file and depends on local registry UI primitives, the cn utility, Lucide icons, React state, and Radix-backed controls.

Verdict

A capable, responsive task-management block with useful extension callbacks, but it is not drop-in everywhere. It needs a shadcn-style setup to mount, carries a substantial dependency footprint, and should not ship until its unnamed checkbox controls receive accessible names.

Use it if

  • You need a ready-made task dashboard with filtering, sorting, pagination, and selection in one component.
  • Your application already uses shadcn-style aliases, theme tokens, and compatible local UI primitives.
  • You can connect the supplied callbacks to your own task storage and mutation layer.

Skip it if

  • You need an accessibility-ready release without first fixing the unnamed checkbox controls.
  • You only need a compact select or simple task picker and do not want the broader dashboard behavior.
  • Bundle weight is tightly constrained and you cannot justify the full set of registry and Radix controls.
  • Your task data cannot provide Date objects for due, created, and updated fields without adaptation.

In a non-shadcn project, add the cn class-merging utility, configure the @ path alias, bring in the listed local UI primitives and their Radix packages, install Lucide icons, and supply the expected utility classes, theme tokens, and Tailwind styling. Add accessible labels to every checkbox before release.
