Measured entry

originui-comp-49

inputminimal-flat

A client-side card security-code field that ships as a shadcn registry component. It wraps local Input and Label primitives, uses React Payment Inputs for CVC behavior and validation props, and relies on the project's utility and Tailwind theme conventions.

What the harness recorded

BARE BUILD

✗ Build failed in 26.17s
error during build:

Verdict

A sensible small building block for an existing checkout, but not a complete payment solution. It builds and mounts cleanly in the prepared harness, while a bare project fails on the missing local utility import, so it needs a shadcn-style setup.

Use it if

  • You need a focused CVC field inside an existing payment form.
  • Your app already uses shadcn-style Input and Label primitives.
  • You want React Payment Inputs to supply card-code formatting and validation behavior.

Skip it if

  • You need a complete card form with card number, expiry, payment submission, or tokenization.
  • You want to avoid adding a payment-input dependency for a single field.
  • Your design system does not use Tailwind utilities or shadcn-compatible primitives.

In a non-shadcn project, add React Payment Inputs and its TypeScript declarations, provide compatible Input and Label components, create the expected class-name utility, configure the import alias, and map the Tailwind theme classes or replace them with your own styles.
