Measured entry

originui-comp-55

inputminimal-flat

A client-side React timestamp field with a visible label, a fixed hour-minute-second mask, and a small attribution link. It ships as a shadcn registry component, composes the shared Input and Label primitives, and uses use-mask-input for formatting plus the project utility and theme conventions behind those primitives.

Verdict

A focused, accessible starting point for timestamp-shaped text entry that builds and mounts cleanly in its intended environment. It needs a shadcn-style setup before it will work in a bare React project, and consumers should add real time validation separately.

Use it if

  • You need guided entry for a fixed timestamp-shaped value.
  • Your app already uses shadcn-style Input and Label primitives.
  • You want the mask to remain hidden until the user interacts with the field.

Skip it if

  • You need semantic time selection, validation, or range enforcement rather than a text mask.
  • Your design system does not use Tailwind utilities or shadcn-style aliases and tokens.
  • You do not want a third-party masking dependency for a single field.
  • The bundled attribution link does not belong in your form UI.

In a non-shadcn project, add use-mask-input, the shared Input and Label components, Radix support used by the primitives, the cn utility at the expected alias, and matching Tailwind theme tokens. Configure the path alias or rewrite the imports, then add validation for valid time values.
