originui-input-button-21

inputunclassified

A compact email input joined to a Send button, with an associated label and shared focus styling. It ships as a TypeScript shadcn registry component and pulls in the registry Input and Label primitives. It relies on React, Tailwind utility and theme classes, a local cn helper, and radix-ui through the Label primitive.

BARE BUILD

Verdict

A sound, accessible input-action shell that builds and mounts cleanly in the prepared harness, but it is presentation only and needs app wiring. It needs a shadcn-style setup: the bare project fails because the imported Input expects the local utility helper and configured aliases.

Use it if

  • You need a labeled email field with an adjacent secondary action in a compact form.
  • Your app already uses shadcn-style aliases, theme tokens, and registry primitives.
  • You want a composable starting point whose button handler and field state will be wired by your app.

Skip it if

  • You need a complete submission flow with validation, loading state, and success feedback out of the box.
  • Your design system does not use Tailwind theme tokens or shadcn-style component aliases.
  • You expect the action to submit a surrounding form without changing the button type or adding a handler.

In a non-shadcn project, add the Input and Label source files, radix-ui, a class-merging cn helper, matching import aliases, Tailwind processing, and the theme color and ring tokens used by the classes. Then connect the button to application behavior.
