Measured entry
ruixen-feature-highlights
feature-gridunclassifiedmotion on file
A client-side React feature showcase that pairs an expanding selectable list with a crossfading image stage and optional autoplay. It ships as a shadcn registry component with no third-party runtime packages, but relies on React, Tailwind theme utilities, the local cn helper, and the browser ResizeObserver API.

BARE BUILD
✗ Build failed in 26.50s error during build: [vite:load-fallback] Could not load <sandbox>/src/lib/utils (imported by src/cut/feature-highlights.tsx): ENOENT: no such file or directory, open '<sandbox>/src/lib/utils'
Verdict
A polished interaction pattern that builds, mounts, and adapts across the tested layouts in its configured harness. It needs a shadcn-style setup, and teams should fix the muted-text contrast and add motion preferences before shipping it broadly.
Use it if
- You need a compact feature list tied to a changing product image or custom React visual.
- You want automatic cycling with click selection and pointer-hover pausing built in.
- Your app already uses shadcn-style Tailwind tokens and the local cn utility.
Skip it if
- You need accessible colors without remediation, since the tested muted text fails contrast checks.
- You require reduced-motion handling or robust keyboard-aware autoplay controls out of the box.
- You want a standalone component that does not depend on Tailwind theme classes or an import alias.
Install
| Declared dependencies | none declared |
|---|---|
| Missing on install | none |
| Bare install | fails once the shadcn-style helpers are removed, so it needs that setup |
| Provider | no provider required in the harness |
In a non-shadcn project, add and configure Tailwind CSS with the expected theme tokens, create the cn class-merging helper, map the @ alias to your source directory, and render it as a client-side React component. No extra third-party runtime package is declared.
