Measured entry
tailark-mist-forgot-password-1
A full-page Next.js forgot-password form shipped as a shadcn registry block. Its source uses Next Link, Tailwind theme utilities, a local logo, and Tailark-flavored Button, Input, and Label primitives. The registry points to those primitives as remote dependencies, but the button dependency currently resolves to a not-found response.

What the harness recorded
BARE BUILD
✗ Build failed in 638ms error during build: [vite]: Rollup failed to resolve import "@radix-ui/react-slot" from "<sandbox>re-722cadbdd303/src/components/ui/button.tsx".
Verdict
Do not adopt this registry item as-is. The referenced Mist button cannot be fetched because its generated shadcn dependency URL returns not found, so installation stops before build or mount. It needs a shadcn-style setup plus a corrected or locally supplied primitive set; teams seeking a drop-in auth flow should avoid it.
Use it if
- You already use Tailark's Mist registry and can repair or supply its missing UI primitives.
- You want a static email reset screen and will wire the form action and sign-in destination yourself.
Skip it if
- You need a registry block that installs and builds without patching dependency references.
- Your app is not based on Next.js or Tailwind theme tokens.
- You need a working password-reset request flow out of the box.
Install
| Declared dependencies | clsx, tailwind-merge |
|---|---|
| Missing on install | none |
| Bare install | fails once the shadcn-style helpers are removed, so it needs that setup |
| Provider | no provider required in the harness |
In a non-shadcn project, add or replace Next.js Link, configure Tailwind and the muted, background, and foreground theme tokens, provide LogoIcon plus compatible Button, Input, and Label components, and connect the form action and routes. You must also replace the broken Tailark registry dependency reference before installation can succeed.
