cultui-morph-surface

transition-effectglassmorphismmotion on file

A client-side React feedback composer that morphs from a compact trigger into a textarea form, with controlled-state hooks, render overrides, and submission callbacks. It ships as a shadcn registry file and depends on Motion, Tailwind utility classes and theme tokens, plus the usual cn helper imported through an app alias.

BARE BUILD

✗ Build failed in 3.36s

Verdict

A capable in-place feedback pattern with clean extension points and a successful configured build, but its default sizing needs mobile attention. The bare mount fails because it needs a shadcn-style setup, including the expected utility alias and styling foundation.

Use it if

  • You want a compact feedback control that expands in place instead of opening a modal.
  • Your React app already uses shadcn conventions, Tailwind theme tokens, and Motion.
  • You need controlled open state, async submission, or custom trigger and content renderers.

Skip it if

  • The control must fit narrow mobile layouts without adapting its default dimensions.
  • You are minimizing client-side animation dependencies and bundle growth.
  • You need a ready-made backend, validation flow, or durable error feedback rather than a presentation component.
  • Your interface must present platform-neutral keyboard guidance without changing the default shortcut copy.

Providerno provider required in the harness

In a non-shadcn project, add Motion, configure Tailwind with the referenced color and focus tokens, provide a cn class-merging helper, map the app import alias to it, and ensure the file runs as a React client component. Adjust the fixed default dimensions for narrow containers.
