Verdict

A sound choice for an existing neobrutalist shadcn codebase: it builds, mounts, stays within the tested viewports, and exposes the expected Radix composition pieces. It needs a shadcn-style setup, since the bare project cannot resolve its cn utility import.

Use it if

  • You already use shadcn conventions and want a neobrutalist modal that drops into the same component structure.
  • You need Radix-managed focus, dismissal, portals, titles, and descriptions behind a custom visual treatment.
  • Your Tailwind theme already defines the background, border, overlay, radius, font, and shadow tokens referenced by the component.

  • Your project is not prepared to supply shadcn aliases, the cn helper, and matching Tailwind theme tokens.
