ruixen-progressive-flux-loader
progressgradient-glowmotion on file
A client-side React progress bar with a glowing gradient fill, animated sheen, and phase labels that change as work advances. It ships as shadcn registry source, supports controlled progress or a self-running loop, respects reduced-motion preferences, and depends on Motion, Tailwind theme utilities, and a local cn helper.

What the harness recorded
BARE BUILD
✗ Build failed in 24.84s error during build: [vite:load-fallback] Could not load <sandbox>/src/lib/utils (imported by src/cut/progressive-flux-loader.tsx): ENOENT: no such file or directory, open '<sandbox>/src/lib/utils'
Verdict
A polished, flexible choice for expressive loading states, with sensible controlled and self-running modes plus reduced-motion behavior. It needs a shadcn-style setup and is a costly fit if Motion is not already part of the app.
Use it if
- You want one loader that can reflect real task progress or run as an indeterminate-looking timed sweep.
- Your flow benefits from customizable milestone labels such as uploading, processing, and finalizing.
- Your interface already uses shadcn conventions and Motion, and the luminous gradient treatment fits its visual tone.
Skip it if
- You need a lightweight progress primitive and do not otherwise ship Motion.
- Your design system avoids glow, sheen, or animated text transitions.
- You need a drop-in component for a plain React project without Tailwind theme tokens or a cn utility.
Install
| Declared dependencies | motion |
|---|---|
| Missing on install | none |
| Bare install | fails once the shadcn-style helpers are removed, so it needs that setup |
| Provider | no provider required in the harness |
In a non-shadcn project, install Motion, configure Tailwind with the muted and muted-foreground theme classes used by the source, add the aliased local cn class-merging helper, and ensure the component runs on the client. Alternatively, replace the alias and theme classes with equivalents from your own system.
