shadcn-block-calendar-11

calendarminimal-flat

A client-side React date-range calendar that presents adjacent months, keeps navigation disabled, and limits selection to a fixed seasonal window. It ships as a shadcn registry block and composes the project Calendar primitive, which in turn relies on react-day-picker, date-fns, Radix Slot, Tailwind styling, and the shared class-name utility.

Verdict

A focused starting point for seasonal range booking, with clean mounting, responsive containment, and no detected accessibility violations. It is not drop-in for a bare React app and needs a shadcn-style setup, including the shared utility imported by the Calendar primitive.

Use it if

  • You need a controlled date-range picker for a booking window with fixed opening months.
  • Your app already uses shadcn conventions and can reuse its Calendar primitive and theme tokens.
  • You want an inline calendar with a short availability note rather than a popover field.

Skip it if

  • Users must navigate freely across months or select dates outside a fixed seasonal window.
  • You need a compact date input or popover instead of an always-visible multi-month calendar.
  • Your project avoids the shadcn utility, Tailwind theme, or react-day-picker dependency stack.

In a non-shadcn project, add the Calendar primitive, the shared class-name utility at the expected alias, Tailwind configuration and theme tokens, path alias support, plus react-day-picker, date-fns, and Radix Slot. Adapt the fixed dates and availability copy to application data.
