Verdict

A credible desktop-oriented starting point that builds and mounts cleanly, but it is not ready to drop into every header. Add a mobile navigation treatment and resolve the ARIA-hidden focus issue before shipping it broadly.

Use it if

  • You need a desktop navigation bar with trigger-driven panels and direct links.
  • Your project already uses Radix primitives, Tailwind theme tokens, and copy-in components.
  • You want keyboard and interaction behavior supplied by an established headless primitive.

Skip it if

  • Your primary navigation must fit narrow mobile screens without a separate responsive treatment.
  • You cannot investigate and fix the focusable content found inside an ARIA-hidden region.
  • You want a lightweight link row without Radix, icon, variant, and Tailwind dependencies.
