Measured entry

originui-comp-79

buttonminimal-flat

A minimal disabled-button example delivered as an Origin UI shadcn registry component. It renders the shared Button primitive with its native disabled state, and relies on React, Tailwind theme classes, class-variance-authority, the Radix Slot primitive, and a local cn utility.

BARE BUILD

✗ Build failed in 6.52s

Verdict

A correct but extremely narrow example: it demonstrates the base button's disabled treatment and little else. It builds and mounts in the prepared harness, but needs a shadcn-style setup because the bare project cannot resolve the shared utility import.

Use it if

  • You need a clear disabled state for an action that is temporarily unavailable.
  • Your project already uses the Origin UI button primitive and its theme tokens.
  • You want native button disabling rather than a clickable control styled to look inactive.

Skip it if

  • You need loading feedback, an explanation for the disabled state, or logic that enables the action.
  • Your design system already has a button primitive and adding a parallel variant system would create duplication.
  • You need a standalone component that works without Tailwind utilities and shadcn path aliases.

In a non-shadcn project, add the Button source, React, Tailwind with the referenced theme tokens, class-variance-authority, radix-ui, and a compatible cn class-merging utility. Replace the registry alias imports with paths your bundler resolves.
