originui-comp-82

buttonminimal-flat

A compact destructive-action button with a trash icon and text label. It ships as a shadcn registry component that composes Origin UI's shared Button, using its destructive variant, Lucide for the icon, Radix Slot through the base button, CVA, utility classes, and a local class-merging helper.

Verdict

A sound, narrowly scoped delete-button example that renders cleanly and is easy to adapt. It is not standalone and needs a shadcn-style setup, so it is best for teams already using the matching Button foundation.

Use it if

  • You need a clear delete or remove action that combines an icon with visible text.
  • Your app already uses shadcn conventions, utility-class theme tokens, and the shared Origin UI button.
  • You want a small destructive control whose styling stays consistent with other button variants.

Skip it if

  • Your product requires confirmation, undo, or permission logic to be bundled into the control.
  • Your design system does not use shadcn-style aliases, theme tokens, or utility classes.
  • You need an icon-only action, a neutral treatment, or a more specific label than the supplied placeholder text.

In a non-shadcn project, add the shared Button implementation, the local cn class-merging helper, path aliases, utility-class processing, destructive color tokens, Radix UI, class-variance-authority, and Lucide React. Then replace the registry import paths with your project paths.
