A sound visual pattern and a clean fit for an existing shadcn-style codebase, but it is demo code rather than a finished async API. It does not mount in a bare project and needs a shadcn-style setup, including the shared Button and utility wiring.

Use it if

  • You need a compact submit or action button with an in-place pending state.
  • Your app already uses shadcn-style registry components and Tailwind utility classes.
  • You want the control disabled while an asynchronous action is running.

Skip it if

  • You need progress text that remains visibly readable while the action runs.
  • Your design system does not use Tailwind, class-variance-authority, or shadcn-style utilities.
  • You need cancellation, determinate progress, or error feedback within the component.
