A sound desktop flyout foundation that builds and mounts without special providers, but it is not ready to drop into a responsive production header unchanged. Fix the hidden-focus accessibility fault and supply a mobile navigation treatment before adopting it broadly.

Use it if

  • You need an accessible interaction foundation for a desktop product or documentation navbar with flyout sections.
  • Your React app already uses Tailwind theme tokens and is comfortable owning copied component source.
  • You want composable triggers, links, content panels, indicators, and an optional shared viewport.

Skip it if

  • This menu must work unchanged as the primary navigation on narrow phone layouts, since the tested example overflows there.
  • Your release gate rejects serious accessibility findings, since the mounted menu leaves a focusable element inside hidden content.
  • You want a dependency-light static link row without Radix behavior, flyout state, or animation utilities.
