Verdict

A solid fit for an existing neobrutalism shadcn codebase, with Radix handling the difficult interaction details. It does not mount bare and needs a shadcn-style setup, so it is a poor drop-in choice for an unrelated React stack.

Use it if

  • You already use shadcn conventions and want a tooltip styled to match a neobrutalist interface.
  • You want Radix-managed trigger, portal, positioning, keyboard, and screen-reader behavior behind a small local wrapper.
  • You are comfortable owning and adapting copied component source inside the application.
